About the Authors

Emmanuel Charlot es periodista especializado en artes marciales y judo, disciplina que ense�a. Fue redactor de la revista Judo Magazine durante ocho a�os, redactor jefe de L'Esprit du Judo y autor de varias obras acerca de este tema; adem�s, es uno de los mejores conocedores del judo en Francia.

Jane Bridge fue la primera campeona del mundo de la historia: en 1980, en Nueva York, obtuvo el premio de mejor t�cnica del certamen. Repiti� su �xito en 1987, cuando consigui� el t�tulo de campeona del mundo veterana en S�o Paulo (Brasil). Ha sido entrenadora del equipo nacional ingl�s y de varios equipos franceses de alto nivel. En 2008 pas� a ser entrenadora en la universidad de Bath, en Inglaterra. Su 7.� dan la convierte en una de las mujeres con el grado m�s alto del judo mundial.
