Includes pieces from: First Report to the Water Research Committee for the Royal Society, on the Present State of our Knowledge Concerning the Bacteriology of Water, with Especial Reference to the Vitality of Pathogenic Schizomycetes in Water. 96 pp. - Second Report: The Vitality and Virulence of Bacillus Anthracis and its Spores in Potable Waters. 87 pp. - Third Report: Further Experiements on the Action of Light on Bacillus Anthracis, and on the Bacteria of the Thames. 242 pp. - Fourth Report to the Water Research Committee. 204 pp. - Fifth Report to the Water Research Committee. 99 pp. - In good condition, with superficial scuffing along edges and corners of boards. Light loss to corners of boards. Hinges remain in good condition and text block remains bound well. Light markings. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear.
