About the Author

Roland Barthes (1915-1980) a �t� directeur d’�tudes � l’�cole pratique des hautes �tudes (� sociologie des signes, symboles et repr�sentations �) avant d’occuper en 1977 la chaire de s�miologie litt�raire au Coll�ge de France. Il a publi� l’essentiel de son œuvre au Seuil, de Mythologies � La Chambre claire, en passant par Les Fragments d’un discours amoureux. L’ensemble de ses livres, articles, entretiens et interventions est �dit� en cinq volumes sous la direction d’�ric Marty.
