He was Partner and Counsel in major international law firms, including Skadden Arps, Brown Rudnick, Cameron McKenna (CMCK), and Simmons and Simmons. Professor Swan has been Visiting Professor of Law at University College London and the Catholic University in Lille and Paris, France, and the IESEG School of Management in Lille and Paris. He has been Member of the Board of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies at the University of London. Dr. Swan has published many law books and dozens of articles, including three law books for Oxford University Press and five for Kluwer Law International. Dr. Swan attended Rocky Mountain College, Montana and Harvard University, United States and has a Juris Doctor degree from New York University and a Ph.D. in Law from the University of London.
