Front hinge of vol 1 broken and others strained, a fair amount of brown ageing to edges of pages, foxing to tissue guards and feps of volumes, a few marks. Some volumes less aged, down to quality of paper used for each. All colour plates have tissue guards. One volume has slight wear to one board corner. 5,060 illustrations and 34,000 items covered.
