Undated. Blue cloth h/b with intricate gilt lettering and decoration to front and spine. Light rubbing to edges. Quite bumped at spine ends, fraying at bottom. Two small punctures to front spine joint. Spine a little darkened. Some light staining to rear board. All edges gilt. Inner hinges starting to crack. Frontispiece loose. Text block generally clean and neat with sporadic prelims of foxing. Covers Light, Heat, Electricity, Magnetism, Pneumatics, Acoustics and Chemistry, with numerous illustrations.
