Sandra Davis takes her readers on a riveting journey filled with romance, witchcraft and murder in the second installment of her three part series, DAUGHTERS OF DASHEEN: The Revolt. Life in the Caribbean is amazingly beautiful, especially when it is not upstaged by murder, witchcraft, corruption and hurricanes. When all four are entwined, the bounty of chaos appears. While the Governor of the Virgin Islands lays paralyzed against his will the lives of those disrupted by his evil deeds find peace in his disappearance. The woman he betrayed has tied his tongue a thousand times. He finds himself covered in a cesspool of evil spirits alive but not kicking. However, local Islanders assume the alleged corruption scandal orchestrated by Governor Gunn would consume the headlines, possibly affecting tourism on their beautiful Island. Little did they know that a hurricane name Irma, more powerful and destructive than the governor, would emerge and change the course of their lives forever. Three daysafter Irma's dramatic landfall, the island was in total chaos and an Island under seize.Life's challenges send Robert and Danielle on a journey where they are confronted with someone as equally conniving as the governor, Elizabeth Kelsey. Armed with jealously and contempt for her West Indian daughter-in-law, she too is on a mission to destroy. The residents of James Island are free of fear, but sometimes the unexpected can be the apocalyptic scene of shattered dreams and rising hopes.
