This card was designed to be displayed in a retail setting to promote the sale of the "Lazybones" doll which Dean's produced between 1931 and 1936. Stiff cardstock with titles printed in dark blue on a light blue background with a color pictorial paste-on depicting "Lazybones" with minute hints of rubbing to the corners for what is a beautiful example of this early 20th century doll advertising card. This is the actual showcard reproduced on p. 214 in "Dean's Rag Books and Rag Dolls" by Peter and Dawn Cope; from the Dean's archives. The condition of the showcard is FINE. RARE.
