About the Author: Harry Houdini (1874–1926) was a magician, escapologist, and stunt performer, as well as a skeptic and investigator of spiritualists. He was also a film producer, actor, and author. Derren Brown is a magician whose TV shows include Mind Control with Derren Brown, which aired on Sci-Fi Channel.
