Reprint (first published 1942). xii, 416 pages. Hardcover: H 22.75cm x L 15.25cm. Dust jacket rubbed; shallow chipping at spine and flap fold ends with tear at rear flap fold head; light sunning to spine's red lettering/decoration; stain and some surface abrasion causing text loss at rear panel's center right. Black cloth with bright gilt stamping to spine. Several minor stains to text block's top edge. Slight toning to endpapers; interior pages are clean. Binding retains some crispness. A very good+ copy in a very good- dust jacket. British Army Major-General John Frederick Charles Fuller (1878-1966) was a renowned military historian and strategist as well as an early proponent of modern armored warfare.
