An excellent copy of this magnificently large and beautifully illustrated edition with all edges gilt, in gilt decorative leather covers, gilt dentelles, five raised bands and six panels with gilt fleurons and gilt titling, marbled pastedowns and marbled feps. This copy with some mild rubbing to corners, to crown and foot of backstrip and to bands. Ffep of vol 1 detached (but laid-in) and with some loss at fore-edge and lower corner.
