Publisher's original brown cloth with spine lettering and ruling gilt, quarto, pp. xii, [1], 18-514 plus pp. [10] ads (curious pagination collated and perfect with the copy at Library Company of Philadelphia). Previous owner, a physician, small name and date in cursive at top of free front endpaper. Medical-themed bookplate from a second, later owner, also a physician, affixed to front pastedown. Condition is FAIR-only, with an old strip of faded tape reinforcing the front hinge internally, and another strip at the rear hinge. A few spots of discoloration on boards.
