DK Home Design Workbooks: Kitchen

Based on ergonomic principles, this workbook features easy ways to organize and design your kitchen, offering questionnaires, surveys, and checklists, and covering storage units, preparation and cooking areas, dining areas, floor coverings, lighting, and much more.

Organization is the key to getting the most out of one's kitchen; Grey's ideas will enable readers to create an original design or work with their existing space to use best what they already have. Illustrations are excellent--clear, detailed, and numerous--and the sample floor plans are enhanced by three-dimensional drawings of what each sample kitchen would really look like. The section on how to draw scale plans is especially good.
