Third edition, second printing (as stated upon title page). xiv, 384 pages. Hardcover: H 23.5cm x L 16cm. Tan thick paper dust jacket with toning, foxing, and some soiling; a few nicks at edges; die-cut front panel window exposes front board's gilt and black Monticello vignette. Handsome red cloth with a few spots of light mottling and soiling. Toning, foxing and some soiling to top edge; minimal toning to fore-edge and bottom edge; a few leaves slightly dinged at their bottom edges as well. Some slight toning and foxing spots to interior pages which, overall, remain quite clean. Binding retains some crispness. Still an attractive very good+ copy in a very good dust jacket.
