Back endpaper removed, DJ has shelfwear, chips and wrinkles - large chip from back of dj. - protected from further damage in clean Brodart jacket. 184 pages. Doris and her siblings, left to look after the Ranch in British Columbia while mother visits her first grandchild, are left with many trials - paying guests, evacuee cousins from England, a rushed wartime wedding, and a disastrous fire.
