My Dad’s Record Collection: Personal insights into essential rock albums

Written over the last seven years, this comprehensive volume brings together highly readable essays and insightful reflections on, primarily, rock albums that have made an impression on the author. While including the big names and icons readily associated with classic rock, it also covers all sorts of obscure, thought-provoking music that one would most likely never have come across otherwise. Regardless of personal preferences, each work is treated with respect, albeit from a deeply personal and subjective perspective. Whereas some albums might push readers outside their comfort zones, the reviews will highlight hidden musical gems you might otherwise miss and that are certainly worth a listen.
