Daily Light on the Daily Path (Updated from the Holy Bible King James Version): Morning and Evening Daily Devotions from the Classic Devotional Book

It is said that this daily devotional book is one of the most popular of all time, a timeless collection of carefully selected scriptures with a clear theme for each morning and each evening of the year. Heralded as one of the foremost tools for daily prayer and Christian worship, Daily Light on the Daily Path, or Daily Light, has helped countless Christians around the world.

The verses herein were compiled by the Bagster family from their bookshop in the Strand in London in the mid-nineteenth century. This clear and inspired reading by British narrator Christopher Glyn brings the Bagsters' timeless work to a modern audience in audiobook form for the first time. This release of this classic book has been recorded in the classic language of the King James Version of the Holy Bible.

Samuel Bagster (1772-1851) was a noted London bookseller. The patriarch of his family, he established a strong tradition of daily family Bible reading. His son Jonathan and other members of his family drew from this heritage as they developed Daily Light on the Daily Path, which has become one of the most beloved classic devotionals of all time. Bagster and Sons, the family business, became a respected publishing house of Bibles and Bible reference books in the nineteenth century.

Jonathan Bagster (1813-1872) was the tenth child of Samuel and Eunice Bagster. He went on to become the editor-in-chief of Daily Light on the Daily Path.

Christopher Glyn trained as a stage actor at the Rose Bruford School of Speech and Drama in the United Kingdom. After receiving Jesus, he forsook a career as a Shakespearean actor to devote his life to missionary work, with a personal calling to minister through radio. In the thirty-plus years since, Chris' inspirational radio shows have been heard on over two thousand radio stations on all seven continents. He has also narrated over one hundred motivational works on audio, which have been heard by millions worldwide. Chris' end-time Bible documentaries, Countdown to Armageddon and Beyond Armageddon, are considered classics in their genre and earned worldwide acclaim. In 2000 Chris set up a Christian audio production company called RadioActive Productions in Uganda, where he hosts a nightly gospel radio show. He also produces syndicated Christian radio shows and audio inspirations for audiences worldwide.
