Daisy was a very special fifteen-year-old greyhound who had a bright and demanding, but very sweet personality. In the process of publishing, we lost one of our other special hounds, Harvey, to osteosarcoma. He is featured in the book. Even though this is a work of fiction, most of the events in this book actually happened, including the SQUIRREL in the pool episode!
