An excellent study of the lives of all of the Dalton brothers. The author interviewed Littleton Dalton, Emmett Dalton, and Eugene W. Kay, Sheriff of Tulare County during this period. A detailed account of the Dalton Gang's attempt to rob two banks at once in Coffeyville, Kansas on October 5, 1892; an ill-conceived plan which resulted in the death of 4 of the gang and 3 citizens, and the wounding of others, including Emmett Dalton, the only surviving gang member.
