Staple and glue binding, cover separating from body of book. Card stock cover has cartoon of two infantrymen sitting under a tree. Rubbing and fold lines on cover. 117 pages. William Henry "Bill" Mauldin (1921-2003) was a Pulitzer Prize winning American editorial cartoonist, most famous for his World War II cartoons featuring "Willie and Joe", two infantrymen. These cartoons were very popular with the soldiers, as they portrayed a realistic view of their experiences. This book is a collection of those cartoons.
