One more dance with Daddy - that was all Carolina ever wished for, when all was said and done. She lived through tumultuous times - born at mid-century, she lived through her family's ups and downs; this novel follows her journey from an idyllic childhood on the island of Okinawa as the daughter of a military officer serving there in the post war years, through marriage and personal conflicts.

Love and loss, dealing with a chronically ill first child and an abusive husband, the loss of the good man whom she truly loved to the Vietnam War, scammed in the business world, the sexual abuse of one of her children by a family member, divorce and natural disasters ... and the father, who had always been the steady rock whom she depended on utterly ... went to work one day, and never came home.

Was happiness and fulfillment ever going to be in the cards for Carolina?

A native Texan and married for 41 years with 4 children and 9 grandchildren. The last 16 years she worked in the real estate business and has her own brokage. She and her husband love to travel in their motorcoach and look forward to retiring. It has been a goal of hers to write a novel and with much determination, she began writing. A couple of years later her book is published. Maybe someday she will write another book about the experiences that she and her husband encounter while traveling.
