This self-help book describes how to manage the two types of change: what is imposed on us and includes divorce, death, retirement, job loss; and the other which is self directed change. The process detailed is based on the author's psychological practice and his own observations of what works.

This book, written for the general public in clear, simple language, describes three proven steps to create successful transitions. Exercises throughout the seven chapters entice the reader to keep reading and working, laying out a clear path. Blocks to change are clearly identified with exercises to work through them.

Hugh Wiley is an international speaker, seminar leader and coach, whose dynamic, interactive style has developed from a wide variety of group experiences creating a fun, friendly environment that stimulates growth.

Hugh's experience emerges from a varied and diverse background of business, education, and psychology. Some of the positions he has enjoyed include: supervisor, instructor, entrepreneur, farmer, and psychologist. Hugh has been founder and co-director of a multi-million dollar business in Canada.

His education includes a Bachelors of Education, a Masters of Science in Psychology, and a Coach U graduate. Hugh lives with his wife, Joanne, on Kootenay Lake, British Columbia, Canada.
