The Dancing Mouse: A Study In Animal Behavior

The Dancing Mouse: A Study in Animal Behavior is a book written by Robert M. Yerkes, a renowned psychologist and primatologist. The book is a comprehensive study of the behavior of mice, particularly their ability to learn and adapt to their environment. Yerkes presents his findings through a series of experiments conducted on mice in his laboratory. He explores topics such as the effect of different stimuli on the behavior of mice, their ability to learn and remember new tasks, and their social behavior. The book also delves into the concept of ""instinct"" in animals, and how it relates to their behavior. He suggests that animals are capable of learning and adapting to their environment through experience and observation. Overall, The Dancing Mouse is a fascinating and insightful study of animal behavior that provides valuable insights into the workings of the animal mind.
