Dangerous Outsider

This is a heady cocktail of international intrigue, kidnap, murder - and racing. A mysterious young horse trainer who wishes to keep his identity secret, moves to England and proceeds to take on his successful English counterpart. Suddenly, strange accidents start occurring: a fire breaks out, horses are abducted and the stable's champion jockey is enticed away. Finally, an attempt is made on the trainer's life. Following a successful career in advertising, at the age of forty Graeme Roe decided to take up riding and under the guidance of David Nicholson gained an amateur National Hunt license. His biggest success was winning the Ayr Yeomanry Cup on Dom Perignon. He then took out a Jockey Club permit and full license.
