Daniel Boorstin's Copy of This Was Normalcy, An Account of Party Politics During Twelve Republican Years, 1920-1932, by Karl Schriftgiesser. The 5 by 8 inch hardcover book is 325 pages and in good condition. The tan cloth boards are clean and have some light bumping to the edges. However, it is from the Smithsonian library with call number tag to the spine and barcode to the back cover with associated stamping on the front free end page, dated 1976. The dust jacket is tucked inside, but split in two pieces and torn and creased. This is Daniel Boorstin's copy, with bookplate present inside. Daniel J. Boorstin was the twelfth librarian of congress from 1975 until 1987, appointed under President Ford. He was also an accomplished author of more than 20 books, contributing much to the fields of sociology and history. He was awarded a Pulitzer Prize in 1973, for his book, The Americans: The Democratic Experience.

Regular shipping by USPS Media Mail is $4. MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING.
