- Book 279 of 387: I Can Read Level 1
There’s a new bicycle exhibit at the museum, and Danny is inspired to learn how to a ride a bike―with help from his buddy the dinosaur, of course!
But OUCH! From running over his friend’s tail to falling off the bike, Danny learns it takes a lot of tries to learn something new.
Readers first fell in love with Danny and his prehistoric pal in the I Can Read classic Danny and the Dinosaur, created by Syd Hoff in 1958. Now the popular pair is together again in a hilarious Level One I Can Read adventure sure to win over a new generation of beginning readers.
Danny and the Dinosaur Ride a Bike is a Level One I Can Read, which means it’s perfect for children learning to sound out words and sentences.
Can Danny learn to balance before his dinosaur friend runs out of silly ideas?
- Learning to Ride a Bike: Join Danny as he wobbles, tumbles, and tries again―and again!―to ride his very first bike.
- A Boy and His Dinosaur: Danny’s best friend is a dinosaur, whose silly ideas―like a parking lot full of pillows―make learning fun even when it’s hard.
- Perseverance for Kids: A gentle and encouraging tale that shows little ones that it’s okay to fall down, and the most important thing is to get back up.
- Classic Characters: Beloved by generations, Syd Hoff’s classic characters return for a new adventure perfect for today’s beginning readers.
