Third book in the popular YA series featuring the adventuresome Danny Dunn & his friends as they explore science. This tale, orig. published in 1958, was way ahead of its time in exploring the personal use of computers, in this case, to do Danny's homework! Identical to the true first edition, this edition is the Weekly Reader Children's Book Club Edition from 1959. Hardcover book is in VG+ condition: salmon-colored cloth-covered boards are bright & colorful with slight corner bumping. Binding straight & strong, very clean. Pages are significantly tanned, especially around all edges, commensurate with age & paper quality, but completely unmarked. The DJ is Good+: virtually flawless on front, with bright colors & just slight rubbing to fore edge side, but spine has small chip at heel & back cover has more chips & a large scraped area in center with a slim tear ascending from Weekly Reader circle; looks nice protected in new mylar cover free!
