Original publisher?s brown blind-stamped cloth, with Arlington Edition stamped on cover, 493 pages, frontis, very slight cover wear, interior very clean, a dust jacket with foxing and chipping to edges. The first 70 pages are on Kit Carson with the remainder being, ?A Narrative of Adventures and Explorations to the Country Between the Missouri River and The Rocky Mountains? ? on Fremont. Although 1885 is on the copyright page, this edition was most likely printed in the late 1880s, and the jacket certainly is rare.
