The Dark Side of Truth (Paperback)

In Truth We Trust

24th Century's last functioning society is no place for liars. When Sandra Bercham's adored sister DreAnne is deemed to be a compulsive liar and exiled, Sandra vows to do whatever it takes to find DreAnne, bring her home, and prove her innocence.

That's going to be tougher than she imagined.

Sandra is suddenly cast into the limelight, the focus of adoration and awe in her new celebrity role as a Truth Teller. She must watch her every step because everyone else is. And suspicion she doesn't deserve her vaulted status lurks deadly in the background.

Meanwhile, DreAnne struggles to survive the harsh environment and harsher group of outcasts living beyond civilization's borders. She's determined to make her way home, clear her name, and take revenge on the person she blames for her exile.

As Sandra and DreAnne each battle a belief system of dubious value to humanity's survival, both girls discover how much trust can or should be placed in truth. The outcome astounds everyone.
