The Darkness Rising (Avilon)

In a world where the forces of darkness threaten to consume everything, the once-prosperous kingdom of Avilon stands as the last bastion of hope. For years, the people have fought a losing war against the armies of Orcs, Goblins, Death-Knights, and Demons-all led by an ancient, malevolent force known only as the Darkness. With their numbers dwindling and their morale shattered, King Eamon and his people await the final, inevitable onslaught.

But there is a legend-a warrior of god-like strength, known as Val'Rain, who once stood against the Darkness and triumphed. Long thought to be lost to time, Val'Rain has returned, summoned by the rising shadows to defend the world once more. As the Darkness gathers for a final assault, Val'Rain must face his greatest foe, the Dark Lord, while the kingdom of Avilon struggles to hold its ground.

In Avilon: The Darkness Rising, the line between light and shadow blurs, and ancient evils stir. Can Val'Rain's power stop the inevitable, or will the world fall into eternal night?
