What are readers saying about The Dark Side of the Butterfly?

"From the moment I turned the first few pages, I knew that I was on a beautiful journey of discovery and reflection. As Shortnin' Bread found a sweet spot on the tip of my soul, I was reminded of a younger self and how I had come to a similar realization with my father's own sweet distractions. Carter has created a jewel that allows the reader to receive, reflect, & realize. This book feels like a road trip back home to open fields and country living. Be prepared to be metamorphosized. You will not be the same at the conclusion of this book. Be well on your journey!" -Yolanda R. Bynum, MSL
