Haikus are to be enjoyed. There's so much meanings and imaginings compressed in three lines, not always in the traditional format of 5-7-5 syllables [Blue crane /no leg to stand on/rising tide] [Our love/perfect/ended too soon] Haikus are your own observations, feelings, views of the world-poverty, war, conflicts, love, kindness, nature etc. Here's a sample, from 388+poems of traditional haiku and a few that are not. Reading between leaves/A revolution brewing/Boston Tea party Fifty years with you/Not a day passed by without/Saying I love you Darling buds of spring/Fields are filled with vibrant green/Bluebells are ringing Freshly cut tree/Stumped/Rings of Saturn Life's beauty/Nothing, nothing/Until something Shadows/On seabed/Breaststroke
