This book contains a history of platinum and the platinum metals, their characteristics and uses. In addition, it describes our platinum laboratory ware, platinum gauze for ammonia oxidation and Baker spinnerettes for rayon. Useful reference tables are included. Fifteenth Edition. A softcover trade catalog, Gray paper wraps with a blue background & embossed lettering on the front cover. The spine is covered in gray cloth. Gray paper endpapers, as well. 72 pages. With tables, black & white illustrations throughout. No publication date stated. Covers have small creases on the corners and some wear to the edges, including small chips and bumps. Some uneven toning to the wraps and spine, as well, from light exposure & age. Toning throughout the text block, as well, mostly at the edges of the pages. There are no loose pages and the binding is sturdy & strong. Contents include: Platinum Crucible, Platinum Dish for Milk Analysis, Platinum Cathodes for Electrolytic Separations, Perforated Platinum Electrodes, & etc.…

Regular shipping by USPS Media Mail is $4. MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING.
