Data Mining, Data Warehousing and Client/Server Databases: Proceedings of the 8th International Hong Kong Computer Society Database Workshop (Industrial Stream)

This year the program focuses on the three topical themes of Data Mining, Data Warehousing and Client/Server Databases. These areas are the subject of intensive research in the database community throughout the world and are also receiving considerable attention from commerce and industry. Multi-databases are now the norm in most major organizations and these three technologies are the most crucial for the management and development of multi-databases.
The Industrial Volume of the 8th International Database Workshop, one of the two volumes of the proceedings, presents leading edge information on applications of data mining, data warehousing, and client/server database technologies. It contains 22 papers written by database vendors, tool vendors, consultants, developers and researchers.
