Dan Lemon is a devoted family man. Bored with his quiet suburban existence, he mistakenly takes an exotic designer drug. Instead of a high, his consciousness fragments, and the inner workings of the simulation become visible. He is haunted by Lemmy—a parasitic rogue virus whispering that reality is collapsing from the inside out. Branded insane after a catastrophic public breakdown, Dan loses his job, his wife, and his home overnight.

Left with nothing, Dan forms an alliance with the digital terror in his head. To save the dying system and claw back his family, he must take a terrifying leap of faith—breaching the surreal, metaphysical purgatory of the Database of Souls to hunt down Lemmy before the simulation shuts down forever.
