Hardcover. Light gray paper over boards with red stamping. About half of spine strip is missing, revealing binding beneath; remaining portion is quite chipped along edges. Rear hinge is split, and cover is about halfway detached. Title page dated 1833. 240 pages. In fair condition. Previous owner's inscription on first flyleaf. Pages are quite foxed and toned, but still in fair reading condition overall. A scarce, early edition with chapters on early friendships, "independence of mind", self government, preparation for death, etc.

Regular shipping by USPS Media Mail is $4. MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING.
