Margaret Sutton is an astonishingly gifted cellist who has lived in London all of her life with her father in their small parish near Regent's Park. When Margaret is sent out of the growing darkness of war to live with her estranged mother in New York City, she wonders if she truly has the strength to ever forgive her and move forward with a new life in a new place

Harry Cavanaugh is Margaret’s closest friend. Without Margaret by his side and as the war rages all around him, he undergoes training to become a Royal Air Force pilot and learns whether or not he has the strength to cope when all hope seems lost.

Opening in pre-World War II London and spanning continents and oceans during the darkest years in history, Dauntless is a story of courage, coming of age, and faith. The trials will be hard; their hearts will be tested… and in the end, as England's king once said, they must endeavor to forever remain undaunted.
