Synopsis
David Busch's Nikon Z7 Guide to Digital Photography is your all-in-one comprehensive resource and reference for the exciting Nikon Z7 mirrorless camera. Best-selling photographer and mentor David Busch helps you master every component of the Z7, with detailed how-to steps and full-color illustrations. Three full chapters are devoted to the camera's extensive menus, showing you when to use each available option and, more importantly, when not to use a particular setting. One chapter explains how to nail the correct exposure every time, reveals common myths about working with the camera's histograms, and explains why the Z7 is not calibrated to 18% gray.
David Busch's Nikon Z7 Guide to Digital Photography helps you master the mystery of the camera's unique autofocus system, and offers step-by-step instructions for using potentially-confusing features like like focus shift shooting, trap focus, and back-button focus. One chapter offers recommended menu settings for specific types of photography, and two more show you how to use electronic flash and wireless flash with Nikon SB-series units, including the SB-5000.
Two video chapters discuss using tools like the Atomos Ninja V with the Z7, and introduce you to the new N-log feature. The comprehensive coverage of your Z7 lens options and the handy visual "roadmap" guide to the Z7, with close-up photos and descriptions of the camera's essential features and controls will get you up and running quickly with your new camera.
Whether you're shooting on the job, as an advanced enthusiast, or are just out for fun, start building your knowledge and confidence, while bringing your vision to light with the Nikon Z7 today.
