LESSONS, Level One, from the DAVID CARR GLOVER METHOD FOR PIANO reviews the basic concepts presented in LESSONS, Primer Level. New concepts are introduced and reinforced sequentially through the use of original compositions, folk songs and the sounds of today. David Glover is Senior Lecturer in English at the University of Southampton, where he teaches courses on cultural theory, Irish literature, and Victorian and Edwardian literature and culture. He is the author of Vampires, Mummies, and Liberals: Bram Stoker and the Politics of Popular Fiction (1996) and Genders (2000 and 2009) and has recently co-edited The Cambridge Companion to Popular Fiction.
