Pagination: 412 pp with 4-page publisher catalogue at rear. No dust jacket. Green cloth binding, with blind-stamped decoration and gilt lettering to front board and spine. Signs of wear, scuffing, some rubbing at edges and on hinges. A little tearing to head and tail of spine and to the board corners, which are bumped. Some marking but reasonably clean for age. Much slackness to binding, cracking to inner hinges with netting exposed, and a bit of strain to textblock. Page edges browned, scuffed, foxed and otherwise marked. A little tearing to several upper page edges which probably occurred when sealed leaves were opened. Some foxing and occasional other marking to page surfaces throughout but no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information. 412+ pp. Circa 1890.
