Our name is a gentle play on the C S Lewis novel 'Voyage of the Dawn Treader' - we celebrate fiction and non-fiction books which give a glimpse into the magical and unexpected. The Dawn Reader is alive in every one of us - I recall clearly early mornings as a young lad devouring fiction by torch-light, those memories never fade. Dawn Reader Rare Books is London-based and has been established as a portal to buy and sell very high quality books. We send 'Delivered Duty Paid' to most countries - this means, buyers in the EU, US and Canada, Australia and New Zealand and some other countries have nothing to pay when receiving our books.
We also have a separate bookseller insurance policy - this provides full insurance on all our shipments with up to £5000 cover per book. This is included in your order with us.
Dedicated to providing the best customer service, and international shipping is actively encouraged. Books can be returned for any reason within 30 days.Shipping terms
As book lovers and collectors ourselves, we appreciate the importance of secure and worry-free packaging. All books have multiple layers of protection, and are sent using premium mail services.
Royal Mail Tracked is our standard service, and Express and Expedited options are provided by DHL and DPD Express couriers, with whom we have agreed contract rates.
We have a separate bookseller Insurance policy which covers all our shipments up to a unit value of £5000 each book, so please order with confidence in the knowledge that we are here to back you up in the very rare event something might not go as planned.
