Synopsis
Dawn's Revenge is a thriller set in the New Orleans French Quarter. Jack Chandler, a struggling young lawyer who takes every case that comes in the door, learns that his housekeeper's beautiful teenage daughter has been brutally raped and murdered by a ring of child molesters. The powerful sheriff of Orleans Parish condones the crime and attempts to silence Jack, who seeks to get justice in spite of attempts on his life.

About the Author
L D Sledge graduated from Louisiana State University School of Law in 1960, served as a Captain in the U S Army Judge Advocate General Corps, then practiced law in New Orleans for four years. He moved to the capital city of Baton Rouge where he established and ran his own private practice for the remainder of his forty three years as at attorney. The author now lived in Palm Harbor, Florida where he enjoys the beauty of the Gulf of Mexico, his motorcycle, fishing, and the beaches. A renaissance man, he is an actor, musician, singer, poet, artist, eclectic reader, Cajun cook, and contributes a large amount of his time helping others through various social outreach programs dealing with antidrug programs, charitable productions and events and as a volunteer minister.
