On This Day: 366 Daily Devotionals

Sometimes Christians need to be encouraged and challenged, and there is no better way than to realize what God has done for us and to be reminded of His promises to keep and sustain us. These daily readings are both interesting and inspirational. Each reading gives a verse on which to meditate throughout the day, a story which relates a historical event to the subject of the verse, and a closing thought to help in your Christian walk.

Reading through this devotional book, you will be reminded of God's promises and encouraged to pray and witness, and you will see Christ in His glory which demands our worship.

A helpful index of names and subjects also makes this book an easy-to-use source for illustrations for pastors and Christian speakers.
