Kindergarten-Grade 3 - Well-balanced views of familiar professions. Each spread includes a clock with the time of day, full-color photos, and one or two paragraphs of large-print text that explain what the job involves. Everyone except the librarian takes a lunch break. Hmmmm. People of various races are illustrated, and the nurse is a man. The question/answer chapter format works well, and each book includes an "Equipment Photo Diagram," with parts of the workspace labeled. - Sharon R.
