He is also a high school Business and Computer teacher at Stearns Junior-Senior High School, a real estate agent and an entrepreneur. He enjoys flying, boating, golf and snowmobiling, but always finds time to read at least fifty books a year of all genres. In fact, he reads so much that a lot of his day is narrated like a book in his mind. When he is not enjoying time with family, Bruce donates his time and talents to the Katahdin Friends, Inc. a local service organization that provides services to people with physical and mental handicaps.
