Every Day A New Beginning (Adult Devotional)

“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”—Anonymous

Why should we be concerned with history, especially the distant past? A rich, full life in the present requires a balanced understanding of the past from which we came, the present in which we live, and the future toward which we are going.

Each daily devotional in this book highlights a specific event that occurred on the same date in history—within Christianity, in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or in the lives of Ellen G. White and others. Explore the historical event, examine the personal spiritual implications, and power your day with an inspiring devotional thought.
