"This 5.75 x 8.625 inch, 251 page hardcover book with dust wrapper is the stated first edition of this title in 1959 as indicated on the copyright page. This copy is in very good condition with only a few concerns that bring it down from near fine. The black cloth, with blue spine cloth strip, is in beautiful condition with only a modest bit of corner wear to the two bottom corners. The interior text pages are in near fine condition with just a touch of handling and age wear showing. The dust wrapper is in very good condition with the price clipped on the inside flap and with one two-inch tear to the bottom of the inside flap, but beyond that showing just a bit of edge wear and wear at the folds of the jacket. This book was "Property of V.A. Hospital Library; San Francisco, Calif." and has two library forms pasted to the back end papers and a library stamp to the top of the closed text block. Beyond that this book is in very nice condition and the library markings have reduced our condition to very good. 251 pages.".
