Synopsis
If the thrill is gone (or cooled) and you want it back, 30 Days to Better Love: A Guide for Men will show you the way—30 ways to be exact. You love your wife every bit as much as you did the day you met, maybe even more, but the years and life experiences have slowly given way to more complacency and less passion-- to familiarity without real intimacy. There are ways to restore the intimate connection you once had. In this guide, author Drexel Gilbert acknowledges the tendency for couples to touch less, talk less and drift apart as time goes by. But for men who truly love their partner and want to rekindle the romance, there’s help! 30 Days to Better Love: A Guide For Men is a straightforward and playful guide to rekindling the passion with 30 simple, significant, and romantic gestures of love husbands can show their wives every day. The steps are easy, fun, and effective. It requires setting aside, just for a moment, responsibilities and obligations that distract you from the love that is within reach. It may even require a momentary step outside of your comfort zone to surprise and delight her. But this brief 30-day investment of time, combined with sincere effort and dedication to romancing the love of your life, will propel you toward a more playful, passionate, and powerful relationship.
About the Author
Drexel Gilbert knows the right questions to ask and writes in a way that connects with her audience. As a college student, Drexel found journalism to be a perfect fit and literally grew up in the TV newsroom and at the anchor desk. More than 35 years after her first broadcast, she is still asking questions-writing books, stories, and speeches that inform, entertain and help others. She has interviewed a number of famous celebrities and political figures, including the First Lady of the United States. But her favorites are conversations with everyday people who, by sharing their stories, often change lives for the better. Much of what you read in this book comes from interviews with men and women who either have or desire romance, fun, and passion in their relationships. She tackles tough issues with a light touch and practical advice that speaks to the heart of the reader. Since her retirement from television journalism, Drexel is a sought after speaker, corporate trainer and writer in addition to being a wife, mother and friend. She encourages others to reach higher, be better, and live life with enthusiasm and optimism. Her previous publications include five children's books and a daily devotional, Anchored: Reflections from a Reporter's Notebook.
