Synopsis
Just picking up this book will surprise some but possibly and hopefully please others. It will open eyes of many, challenge many, perhaps offend some, and, again hopefully, answer many questions to those who have contemplated, or were interested, or were fearful of Bible Prophecy. The Bible contains subject matter that is unique among ALL literature ever written or that ever will be written. That subject matter is Prophecy in the sense of letting us know what is going to happen in the immediate future as well as in the distant future. This has been true to everyone who ever picked up God’s Word from the time it was originally written until today.Therefore, when we contemplate our immediate future and our ultimate future in the Lord, where do we turn for enlightenment? To man’s explanation for everything – evolution? Certainly NOT! We turn to God’s Word because it is the True Truth upon which we can live joyful and meaningful lives, not to mention living according to God’s Will for our lives. And what can be more important than that?This little book is a compilation of the numerous considerations that a thinking and dedicated Christian should know and become familiar with in order to perceive just where we are in God’s Plan for the redemption of mankind, where we are in the present in relation to what God has told us will be coming upon the world as a result of its fallen nature, and what glorious and fearful things God has in store for us in the very near future. Read on, dear inquisitor, for many answers are available to the hungry mind and heart all available in God’s Word through the illumination of His Holy Spirit! In this small book is the introduction to many areas of study that surround gaining understanding and wisdom about Bible Prophecy. Some of those include how to read God’s Word for understanding, the fundamental concepts to understanding prophecy, Old Testament references to the End Times, New Testament references to the End Times, Pre-Tribulation Rapture defense and justification, resurrections and judgments, and an End Times Timeline. Also, included in the text is the absolute necessity for Christians to reject in its entirety the concept of evolution since any acceptance of evolution is against the Word of God, is insulting to God, and asks for God’s Punishment in severe terms. Why speak of evolution at all? Because it is the basis of the enemy’s method of leading people away from God’s Word, trusting in the absolute Truth of God’s Word, and turning to the foolishness known as the wisdom of man. My hope is that this small attempt to offer subject matter to expand understanding of Bible Prophecy will encourage many to open up their Bibles and get started down the narrow road that leads to understanding, God’s Wisdom, and the Eternal City of New Jerusalem!
