A scarce poetical work surrounding ancient Rome. Beautifully illustrated throughout by Edith Calvert. With original publisher's advertisements loosely inserted into the front. In original cloth binding with gilt motif to the front board. Externally, lightly rubbed with shelfwear to the spine. Rear joint is very slightly starting. Internally, firmly bound and bright. Instances of light spotting throughout. Previous owner's ink stamp to the front free endpaper. Bookseller's label to the front pastedown. Good.
